3 Dreamy Destinations for a Winter Break

Is it just me, or does this time of year have you hankering to book a holiday? I'm finding myself spending about 75% of my day checking the Skyscanner app or looking at gorgeous beaches on Pinterest... sigh. My wanderlust probably isn't helped by the fact that my Mum and Dad jetted off to Barbados yesterday, ready for a cruise around lots of beautiful Caribbean islands. A little bit better than freezing Leeds, no?

Hearing my Mum reel off the list of places they would be visiting over the next fortnight made me think twice about cruises. I'd never really thought that they were for me, but after doing a bit of research there are so many cool ones out there and you can visit some pretty incredible places.

So, to fuel your holiday daydreaming even more, here are 3 dreamy destinations for a winter break - all of which you can visit by cruise!

Norwegian Fjords

Now this is actually pretty high up on my travel bucket list! After visiting Oslo last December, we fell totally in love with Norway and I am desperate to see more of this beautiful country. This one would be perfect in the winter (think snowy mountain scenes straight out of Frozen) and you also have a pretty good chance of seeing the Northern Lights too!

Canary Islands

So hands up if you're totally craving some sun on your face right now?! After the week that brought us #thundersnow, I think we're all pining for some warmer temperatures and the Canary Islands has got sunshine in abundance right now. They can sometimes get a bit of a bad rep, but I've visited Lanzarote a couple of times and there is so much to see and do that it's well worth a visit!

Hawaii

Now this one is a real dream on destination, but who wouldn't love to trade in the freezing UK for Hawaii??? I have wanted to visit this beautiful place for SO long and I think a cruise could be the perfect way to see as many of the islands as possible. BRB, just dreaming about wearing a grass skirt and drinking from coconuts on the beach...
